My latest Deutsche Welle story explores the fragile calm between the Bab al-Tabbaneh and Jabal Mohsen neighborhoods in Tripoli, a coastal city in northern Lebanon.

Residents of each community, who have squared off with each other time and again, said the next bout of violence is on the way. The killing of Osama Mansour, a Jabhat al-Nusra fighter from the area, may be the spark.
