My latest Electronic Intifada story explores Israel’s ongoing crackdown on Palestinians in Israel, who, despite their nominal citizenship, are facing a sharp uptick in arrests and repressive policies.

On 8 November, an Israeli police officer fatally shot 22-year-old Kheir Hamdan in the Galilee village of Kufr Kana, sparking strikes and protests across the country.

Since then, Israeli politicians have lashed out at the Palestinian minority, including threatening to transfer them and revoke their citizenship.
