MEE: Police brutality barely mentioned at Tunisia’s elections campaigns

My latest Middle East Eye story investigates the impunity that enables police brutality in Tunisia. In many cases, influential political critics are targeted for their views, while in others, random arrests campaigns result in the detention of innocent civilians.

Though Tunisia’s Minister of Interior claims to investigate all complaints and accusations, history suggest that little has changed within the country’s security forces since the time of Ben Ali’s dictatorship.
