My latest Middle East Eye report from Tunisia examines the country’s strongest secular party, Nidaa Tounes, and its hopes of uniting secular Tunisians against the moderate Islamist party Ennahda.

That approach is born from a long history of classism and secular elitism. In any case, Nidaa Tounes will likely find itself having to make a coalition with Ennahda.
