My latest feature story at The Electronic Intifada covers the recent youth “Camp of Return” in Kufr Birim, a Palestinian village ethnically cleansed more than six decades ago. Since August 2013, more than a dozen activists — nearly all of them descendants of the village’s refugees — have exercised their right of return and camped out on their ancestral land.
As one might expect, Israeli land authorities and police have harassed them time and again. Click here to read the rest of the story.
